About the Newsletter
A weekly email newsletter is produced by VolResource giving current news and information with a practical focus to help you:
- keep on top of relevant regulations, admin matters;
- be up-to-date with news around management issues, sector developments, government initiatives and other relevant items;
- find useful new and updated resources on the web;
- put events in your diary or apply for selected vacancies;
- whether you are in a small, medium or large organisation.
Please note that funding opportunities, while featured from time to time, are not a core area. Content varies from week to week to reflect current issues, and appears (abbreviated) on the website archive some weeks in arrears.
Timing - usually sent Thursdays. The frequency may be reduced during quiet periods of the year (late December, mid-summer).
Paid subscriptions
Consultants, commercial concerns etc pay to receive the newsletter at £28 per year. Public sector bodies, academic institutes and the like are asked to pay £23-50 - let us know if this is a problem as we are likely to be sympathetic.
The newsletter is free to those active in voluntary organisations in the UK, but to enable us to continue to produce and develop this service, we do welcome voluntary subscriptions, at £23-50.
Voluntary organisations, charities etc which regularly re-use material from the newsletter, electronically or in print, are asked to take out a licence, at £23-50 a year (local organisation) or £42-50 national. If you want to re-use the whole, or most, of the newsletter, please contact us to discuss.
You will get newsletters sent for up to 3 weeks to give you a chance to check it out and send the money. Details of how to pay will be on the invoice.
The paid newsletter defaults to plain text format - say in the comments if you would prefer to receive in in html (web) style.
Change your details or unsubscribe at any time by following the links at the bottom of the newsletters.
